On August 31 - September 2 entrance is free, the Conservatory is open for public. Please check this website regularly for updates of the schedule.
Participation
All participants can attend the activities offered in the Atlas Academy as listeners.
Selected composers are given the opportunity to work with the musicians directly to learn, collaborate, discover and test sketches and possibilities. Applications will be selected based on their originality, maturity and interest for the academy. The outcome of some experiments will be presented in the Atlas Festival.
IMPORTANT: deadline for applications is May 1st. Projects will be evaluated until May 15 and the selected composers will be contacted and assisted to develop further their projects. On July 1 the selected candidates are expected to deliver a fully detailed plan. Composers might be offered pre-fixed instrumentations to work with.

Composers may have to transmit their ideas in ways other than Western notation. In this case, how do you intend to communicate with the musicians?
Coming edition of the Atlas Academy we will collaborate with the Experimentalstudio Freiburg. As a composer are you interested to work with (live) electronics? If yes, what are your ideas?
